APOLOGETICS from God of Creation to Christ's Resurrection Easter.

Series:  Why should I go to church? Why a 2000 year old church for me today?  Jesus resurrection was faked.  Atheism is the fastest growing "religion" on college campuses today - (reports say).  There is no God and certainly no Jesus Christ......

Here hear the truth and facts from scripture, Biblical archaeology, secondary literature of the establishment era and church history...  By example did you know that ancient Egyptian pagan priests wrote of Moses? Presented in Sept. 2009 sermon.

------------------------------------

The logical, rational, historical supports for 'A deity  God,' and Why 'A God' is "Our The God" and why Jesus, his son, is TRUE.

Including: His Resurrection vs. hoax i.e. Quran Sura 4.147 and the Bloodline of the Holy Grail, etc);

Adult college level apologetics after the reverent service segment.

MUSIC ARTS Volunteers NEEDED!!!! Please call 970. 403. 1700 !!!!

Visitors:   The chapel with a VIEW of God's Country is located on the Fort Lewis College Campus - easy access so please join us.

Access from most Durango area motels on a Sunday is about a 15 minute drive - ask your host for directions to Fort Lewis College and "College Drive."  FYI, There is a steep entry on the South rim and an much easier (gradual grade) curls behind the college campus then loops around the campus to the golf course and then on to the chapel.

Church Services:

Service is Bible based and the initial series of sermons will bring into focus WHY religion today? Why Christianity?  Why you?  Why us?

Did the famous events and people of the Bible really exist?  What are the facts vs. Hollywood i.e. the Da Vinci Code and The Bloodline of he Holy Grail?  WE examine the teachings and morality of the Bible, of course, while including the contributions to Christianity of relevant external literature: i.e.- the Dead Sea Scrolls, Aramaic New Testament, Biblical Archeology, the ancient Egyptian record and more - to answer the questions college level students have of 'WHY.... and why me ...now?

Faith:                        Open Invitation Christian Chapel - Protestant -  Traditional opening order of service followed by contemporary praise, music and sermon. The traditional service respects the legacy and heritage of those before us who worked and gave so much so that we can praise the Lord and have prayer opportunities today.  Sermons are sometimes round tables.

Today is today and students and most everyone else want to become, belong, participate and contribute - to feel wanted and appreciated.   SO!  Volunteers of all ages can support the order of service from welcome and ushering to music performance.  If 'you' have the talent this church has a need.  More than that, the minister invites students to draft appropriate sermons and message reinforcement skits relevant to the issues they face every day.    What?  Why not?  The service provides a forum for Respect, Praise, Prayer and Relevance.....

Support:                  Voluntary contributions.

The

The straight facts: FLC charges the church $100 a month for rent and Sunday access. Personal, company and church support is necessary. Please consider G.C. F. Church at the FLC Chapel when giving.  The financial math is simple; a full chapel and $4-5 per person per service (average giving) will keep the chapel open all term!  Company and personal charterships are available at $250+. God Bless and THANK YOU.

Charter Members:

Proverbs 3:1-10

2 Corinthians 9:7

Faithful individuals and philanthropic entities will be recognized as "Charter Members" of the G.C.F. Church - FLC Chapel.
The goal is to enjoy the support of 50 charter members to sustain services throughout the college terms and, we pray, all year.

Individuals (except those church supporters at a distance or out of state) that attend services on a regular basis and contribute one month's overhead (est. ~= $250.00) will receive a Charter Member Certificate.  This certificate acknowledges and honors one's grace, support and commitment and is proof of one's moral character, social maturity, community service and leadership resume; Proverbs 3:1-10.

Community and corporate organizations can become God's Country Fellowship Church charter members via their donations - regardless of any personal church affiliation.

The preliminary annual budget for two college terms for direct overhead expenses including FLC Chapel rent, State and  Federal registration fees, and many cumulative incidentals (excepting any compensation) is ~= $4,000 a semester. Currently all expenses* are being met by Nick and Kathleen Federspiel and charter members - your help will be appreciated!!

Nick is a charter member of Grace Community Church of Plano, Texas - when the congregation was less than 20 persons and G.C.Church now supports the Christian needs of over 2,700.  Chartering a church is one of God's great blessings; 2 Corinthians 9:7.

*Note 1: Victory New Testament Fellowship International, as its mission commitment to new churches, proves all attorney services in support of State and Federal registrations.

Note 2: IRS 501 C3 rules do not allow contributions in kind, thus when appropriate, circular checks are issued and verified by V.N.T.F. Int'l before submitting the annual informative tax returns required by law.
